Eccrine Systems Inc. is Tops in its Category for Cincy Inno’s 50 on Fire
When Cincy Inno held its inaugural 50 on Fire awards event, it made a special effort to highlight sweat sensor development company Eccrine Systems, Inc. as its category winner for Health Sciences. Though 50 companies and individuals were named to the original 50 on Fire list in early September, Eccrine Systems, Inc. was one of only seven to be named an Inno Blazer, beating six other companies in Health Sciences to earn a literal red blazer in recognition.
Also gaining recognition in its local market is OIF portfolio company Wiretap, named by Columbus Business First as one of Central Ohio’s Best Places to Work. Read the full story here.
ConnXus Platform Takes Home Award at International Procurement Summit
The Sourcing Industry Group’s Global Executive Summit, taking place Oct. 15-18 in Rancho Mirage, California, includes a program recognizing impactful products in the procurement industry, and one of the four products being recognized this year is the myConnXion platform by supplier management company ConnXus. SIG lauded ConnXus, which is also presenting at the summit, for myConnXion’s ability to streamline the sourcing process and its positive changes to the fundamental interactions between buyers and suppliers.
ConnXus Founder and CEO Rod Robinson was recently named to the board of directors for Cincinnati economic development organization Cintrifuge. Read more about it here.
A Chilling Challenge: Global Cooling Presents & Sponsors Competition at Conference
The International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories’ annual conference, running Oct. 14-17, is the leading international conference on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability in laboratories, and playing a significant part in this year’s event is Global Cooling, maker of the Stirling Ultracold ultra-low temperature freezer. In addition to hosting an exhibition booth at the conference, Stirling Ultracold is a platinum sponsor of, and will present awards at, the International Laboratory Freezer Challenge. The company also sponsors the My Green Lab summit.
